Hello I am new here to this community, and was hoping to share information and ideas to modding BF 1.

Now just one of the first models I have worked on for a while is the "Slugrod Heavypistol" and I will supply links to images of it. I am actaully just wanting to show case it for now till I have some means or way of putting it in a game, so I guess I will ask you guys that to.

So this has been one of the things on the back burner that has been tweaked and edited when ever I felt like it, so this has been refined alot. And by the way its also very unrealistic in formfactor as a pistol but I thought it had some style....

Like I said I am not sure what to put it in but I had the intent of BF 1-2, or Half Life 2.

So I guess thats where I am really wondering, that and my texturing for it. Indeed texturing does concern me about this cause I do not want to UV map it wrong. Thats where custom textures will be the hard part. And if I texture it, I should do it in tga just to be safe. Then it can be up for grabs in both the Battlefront series and Half Life 2.

Sweet model!. Thought if you go with SWBF2, expect alot of missing polys.

Well that dosn't surpirse me that it would remove some. But heck even if it did it couldn't be that bad.

So I got to ask If some body here really did want to put this into BF 2, I would need a bit of help. I can take care of formatting it to MSH, but I do not know how to add it to the weapons sides. That and I would like to make a loopable gun sound for it.

Its an idea. The game that I knew this would most likly fit in was, Half Life 2 just due to the time period and the source engines high poly capabilities. Yeah I am no pro at putting models in BF 1 (and I never tried 2 before) but I have had a long year of bad luck and alot of learning, and I could only get this in a game with some ones help as I see it.
