| A new year, a new showcase, there was only 4 pages in the showcase of 2010/2011! Dear modelers let's beat that record ! - Spoiler:
Explanation of that topic:
Post pictures of your own models. Wireframe pics are a requirement for everyone from here on, so if you post a pic of your model in shaded or textured be sure to post a wireframe or wireframe on shaded pic also, this not only helps prove it to be your work and avoids plagiaristic accusations but others will also learn from your work by examining edge flow, and learning is the important thing here because the more you learn the better you'll get.
Also, please don't try to turn the Showcase topic into your personal WIP topic. If you intend to post progress updates for a particular project every so often then it would be best to create a new WIP topic and then you can update it all you want.

Let's do it! I made this model last week.(Or two weeks ago, I forget..) - Spoiler:
Yesterday, I decided to texture it. The model uses 2 Primitives. One for the clip, other one for the entire gun. 384 polys. - Spoiler:

| Thanks Heh, idk. it's based mostly on the imperial sniper rifle's texture, a little bit on the rebel one and this fills in the blanks. |

To sum it up, yes. I most certainly am a Fallout fan. FO1, 2, Tactics, 3, and New Vegas. FO1 and 2 are my top favorites along with NV, but I still love 3 and Tactics as well. I just wish I could get up enough cash to get a new computer so I can play 3 and NV again and make films in them. Oh and play with mods. In 3 and NV, I tend to get some mods that make the game 10x harder and more realistic and even closer to FO1 and 2 in terms of visuals and the harshness of the wasteland. Fighting for my life becomes even more important in such environments. |

| Yeah, I've gotten a ton of mods for 3. I went for a real Hero of the Wasteland kind of thing, so basically I did everything as good as I could. I have Broken Steel DLC, so I can play after I activated the purifier. I got a mod that adds green trees, which fits since I did the Oasis quest in a way that would have trees grow in the wasteland. I have the Weapon Mod Kits mod, which may be the best mod for the game. I got Sharing and Caring Companions too, so I lead a team of people, scouring the wasteland for evil. I'll take a screenshot of my team sometime. |

| Mech time all. This was to promote a mod idea on the Source modding site of Interlopers.net. Lephenix requested I upload the mesh here so I figured why not...
May go further with it, and I may not. Doesn't have a bone skeleton so there is no animations on this one, but I thought you all would like it being XSI users. |

| That's pretty awesome looking. I can somehow imagine an Imperial paintscheme on it. Was your inspiration Mech Warrior or the AT-ST from The Original Trilogy of Star Wars? Looks kind of a mix of both. Not that that's a bad thing! It's actually really cool. Wouldn't want to fight against that. |

| I do have one question, if it walks, would the top part of the legs hit that armor plating just under the guns on the main body? Would definitely love to see this animated. |

| Even though it was a inspiration model purely for concept I would love to put it in BF 1-2 game. Only thing is I use is modtools and they don't export with the Pandemic addon. Since I wont pirate the full version of XSI (and it's to old and expensive to buy) I would have to let some one else make the full export to msh and give them the file in a common XSI format.
That and textures are a wee bit of an issue, as I have never successfully rendermapped a model for msh. I am not the best texture designer but if I had some help I would love to. |

| So wait does this mean this addon will work in Modtools as well? If that's the case I may do a wee bit with the old engine once again. |

| Oh since the new ZE Addon has weapon support I made a repeater like the one from Jedi Knight Outcast. Not to bad on poly count either, I added more in the areas that I wanted to have smoother looking. Btw if anyone can tell me about Ultimapper techniques I would love to hear about them. I plan on getting a good texture generated on this with it. |

| That looks awesome. It looks like it'd be hard to carry by a normal human, but I can definitely see a person in a powered suit wielding this thing. I wouldn't want to be at the receiving end of that. |
