Hi all well as you might or might not know I have been working on a mod.Now I am at the actual wip topic phase I am about 95% done with the sides and 90% with the maps and I feel I meet the requirements to make a topic here.
On to the mod itself. My idea was a mod with semi different sides for each map. Now with the amount of maps bf2 has that turned out to be very difficult so I toned that down. This is my first mod/map for any game. It has the all 4 sides modded tons of new units, weapons, heros.i have tried to stay cannon with stuff but took some libertys.also every map will have cw and gcw conquest and heroes assault. There will be 9 units per side per map.

New units
Unit classes each side has 9 unit classes I have made it so no two of the same classes have the same weapons so as to have each side new and exciting they also seem quite balanced to me there are a couple maps that are hard to win on as a specific side (manly utapau for the republic) the classes are not set in stone and there is variance in a classes purpose on a map to map basis
Basic classes
1: the rifleman basic soldier carries’ some form of explosives and a carbine
2: the heavy trooper carries heavy weaponry and equipment
3: the sniper faster than any other basic class and long range weaponry
4: the engineer medium speed and health this class is good at fixing vehicles and has help full equipment like mines health and ammo turrets
Point classes
8: points the officer/sergeant this class is kind of like an enhanced version of the rifleman that carries buffs better guns and such
12: points the spy fast and stealthy good at sabotage the one exception to this class is on some maps the cis have a droideka instead or the imperials have a phase one darktrooper
14: points the jettrooper there is a large Varity is weapons and equipment in this class you can find units with grenade launchers or blaster rifles also each side has at least one heavy unit with stuff like rocket launchers or chain guns and such for inside maps like the tantive IV the imperials have several
18: points the commando the commando is like a very powerful rifleman with stuff like shields and many modes to their guns and different types of grenades they are designed to charge into the fray and take out many units
22: points the commander features better guns and buffs and some special equipment

1: means it’s a primary weapon
2: means it’s a secondary weapon

2: wrist arccaster can shoot two shots before it needs to cool down for a long time but instant kill for most units
Notes: Mainly the 212ths officer units on most maps but a couple other legions have him on a map that’s effective for him
A bit more health main thing is his para jump in effect a tiny jump pack with no effect and a tiny jump but it allows him to shoot while falling and he also has no fall damage

Clone Shadow Trooper

Rebel Jettrooper

1: Z-6 Rotary Cannon X 1200 it takes quite a while to start firing but after it starts it can empty all 300 shots without needing to cool down. The shots have about the damage of the stock pistol.
1: PLX missile launcher X10 the basic rocket launcher with 2 rounds per clip it also has a small radius so it can also lock onto units.
2: thermal detonator X5
2: auto turret X4
2: orbital strike X3
2: vibro knife
Notes: slower but has a medium shield.
The rebels seem to have many twi-leks XD if anyone can think of other species that I don’t have (that there are existing models or reskins for) please let me know

Where do you get the Duros?
