Here a glimpse at a DD chapter. Somewhere in Zormanis in the cold a TX-150 broke down while performing armored recon. The 35th Nova Corps (Galactic Marines) get sent in and do search and rescue because the recon data is vital to performing a major operation.

Hi all. Been awhile lol.

After playing birds of steel and reading about the history of each plane lead to this.

Got to work on a lighter version of the arc-170. The ARC-171 NF. The Naval wanted a version that was proper for a Venator class. Like the f4f-wildcat, f6f hellcat, the Incom corporation built the ARC-171 naval fighter.

Just to add some logic lol.

Here's some updates finally on Designated Days Chapter 3-5. On the planet Rathia, The war is raging on in the snow in Zormanis. I called this area Ordean Forest. A place of vast forest where the rathians are on the offensive with new armor units. The Type-2 medium tank loaded with at 80mm and 8mm mg.

More variants of the ARC-170

Here we have the ARC-172 NF.

Subpro Corporation and Incom Corporation were task with building a better fighter that suits the needs of the Venator class. Which could be flown by 1 clone pilot rather then 3. Also could respond faster to enemy surprises.

After Incom built the arc-171-NF which was better then the arc-170, they went on to build an arc-172 which they felt they could still further improve the Venator Naval Fighter (VNF).

Pilot soon got to fly the ARC-172-VNF. It has more armament then the 171-NF. Same torpedo count as the 171-NF which is 6xproton torpedos. 2 extra 20mm laser cannons were installed which lead to 4x20mm laser cannons on the 172-VNF. Used 1 clone pilot to fly. Same life support as the 171-NF. Speed was improved.

However clone pilots had complaints about the 172-VNF. Maneuverability was lost by 3%. The 4x20mm laser cannons over heated fast when in combat before needing to reload a new power cell. Torpedo lock-on was 1% longer. The wing fold was 2% slower then the 171-NF which reduced response time. And cost was more then the 171-NF which the republic felt was too steep for a fighter that didnt perform as expected.

The republic had only purchased 1200 units of the ARC-172-VNF.

Subpro Corporation was given the green light to produce a VNF for the Republic. They too were given the ARC-170 as a base but was given the ARC-172-VNF in the confusion by Incom and the republic. The republic had pressured Subpro for something better and quick for the republic fleet. Subpro had begun work on both a New Fighter and modifying the ARC-172-VNF. And several week later produced the ARC-173-VF.

The engine was modified with subpro components, 2 subpro energy cells were added to the wings to fix the overheating of the 4x20mm LCs. However after seeing the ARC-173-VF contained unused extra energy, 2x20mm LC's were removed and replaced with 4x15mm LCs which performed well. The wing fold was expanded by 2% to shorten fold time. Maneuverability was improved by 4% due to the energy components on the wings. 4 LC sensors were removed to increased lock-on time for both torpedos and LCs. Thous becoming cost efficient which the republic loved.

The ARC-173-VF was a dream to the clone pilots and was too good to let it go. So the republic ordered 7000+ units.

....those skins.....I can already tell you its going to be something special. If I may suggest, I know its in very early developement, but adding a bumpy landscape would help I think. The battlefront 1 versions of mos eisly and tatooine dune sea illustrate how well a desert enviroment can be done. It had a good balance of rock formations and hilly landscapes. I didnt like the versions of geoenosis we got in both games to be honest, but a lot can be learned from BF1 tatooine maps I think. Its just a small suggestion. I like the turret model, looks pretty cool to.

DD Chapter 1-6 is 50% complete at this time. 1-7 has been scrapped and being redone.

I'm sorry if I keep bothering you but will there every be a series or a map where you play as the Rathians?

Yes there will be maps of the rathian sides. Beach defense, ambushes on rep and cis, city defense, major offensives.

Will there ever be a series where you have to play as republic and execute order 66?

Yes DD will play into order 66. So you will have jedi temple storming with DD versions of the 501st and kashyyyk defense dd style.
