| Didn't know if this was a good idea for a topic or not, but I feel like there could be a nice conversation here. I will have to say don't get personal if you don't want to. This could be a relationship advice thread or a thread about how well a relationship is going. Maybe some venting? Up to people here.
Just don't make it inappropriate.
Things like, "I am happily married to this person for this many years." or "Things are kind of bumpy at the moment and uncertain. May have to break up, any thoughts?" You get what I mean?
Not, "I did this to her/him and it was nice." That's a bit too much TMI and is not really acceptable on the forums as it is.
No one is required to post. I'll post what kind I'm in.
I am single right now and it is a bit lonely, though I am talking with a nice girl that I am interested in and have already become great friends with her. I am hoping to take it to the next level eventually. She has been making me really happy just talking stuff over with her. It's really refreshing to talk to someone and express my honest thoughts. |

lol I just have an honest question. Is it okay to be 20 and date a 34 year old or is that too much of a age gap between us? I don't have a problem with age or anything. |

| I think I need a drink badly now. She removed me off of Facebook as friends and said, "I like you so much but I am going to let you go and get on with your life." with a smiley face at the end. I don't know what to say. Yes, I may have a crush on her, but I told her as long as we were great friends it would be fantastic enough for me. I mean, she mentioned no one else. Just without warning. Maybe either that stuff happened too fast or I said something that scared her (I don't think I have said anything). Maybe she was scared to hurt me or take me away from my life, when she really wasn't. If anything, she's been helping me see the better parts of myself and I just feel so happy talking to her. I mean, I was relatively positive before, but even more so talking to her. I don't know what I should do. I don't want to lose her - in any sense. I mean, she could've told me that I should back up a little bit, I would've understood.
I'm freaking out a little and I think I just need to sit down and relax, but I can't do that. I'm actually on the verge of crying. As I said, she would've been great even if we both remained great friends. I don't think that should constitute removing me from Facebook. I don't know, I'm just a bit shocked. I do have a life, but she wasn't taking me away from it at all.
Edit - She and I are talking it over. I think she was afraid of hurting me or something. I'm calmed down now, but I'm still trying to understand. |

| ahah, at one of those points in the relationship, even if just friends. This is where you show her a part of yourself and she of herself. Whatever the outcome. |

| Well, I have great news about this: She readded me on Facebook not long after a conversation she and I had that same day. We came to an agreement that we should both let things happen naturally and should things escalate, but not work out in the end, then we shall remain great friends and I'll be okay with that. So, everything's back to normal. We talk, share music we have, experiences we've had, and just generally have a great time. So I'm happy there. More news on that later, brothers. |

| Yeah, we're really taking it up a level. She said she loves me. And I feel the same way about her. And I'm not gonna let anyone else judge the age gap. I'd rather her be older than younger anyhow. Same range is nice, but does that matter when true feelings here are involved? But the great thing of all is that she and I can at least remain friends if we feel it won't work out. We technically didn't 'officially' start dating, but the flirting and our expressing our true feelings toward each other is comforting. I'm comforted to know and feel like it wasn't pressured on her or anything like that. I wouldn't want any pressure. It's great she feels the same way and we can be completely honest with one another. A friend of mine has bad vibes since it's a 'long distance' thing like my last ones, but I feel....somehow, this one can be different. I can't just ignore my feelings. Yes, I will be cautious, but feelings are feelings and I'm following them despite a naysayer. All my other friends support it. *sigh* Anyways, yup... Anyone here having issues or good news? Anything anyone wants to share? I feel this is a venting thread by me now. Hahaha. |

Yup. Right now, we're kinda in a limbo state on the matter of bf/gf since we never really confirmed that. We're friends who flirt excessively. Then again, technically speaking, I suppose that can be the same when it comes to comparing a boyfriend and girlfriend, right? But we agreed to at least stay friends above all else, that's what matters. A lot of relationships don't work out like that, though, from seeing that in person with other friends. |

| I'm coming to you guys for advice because 1-you're older then most of my friends 2- most of my friends are losers who have not had girlfriends (N/O)
So I ask my question here. I met a girl a few hours ago after school helping my science teacher. She has a crush on me and she's pretty, cool and nice. My question is whether I should wait, or go for it pursuing a relationship. |
