| Hi. I will show you how I model. Nothing special or advance. 1) Open XSI Example 1-1 ---------------------------- - Spoiler:
2)Go to Primitives\Polygon Mesh\Cube Example 1-2 ------------------------------- - Spoiler:
The cube menu pops out. Close it for now Example 1-2-2 ---------------------------------- 3)Go to where it says wireframe. Click on it and choose Textured Decal. Then repeat, but only this time choose Headlight. Examples 1-3 ----------------------------------------- Example 1-3-3 --------------------------------------------- What this does is helps you prepare and model for eidting and easy viewing. Real easy to follow right? LOL!

| This area will show you the uv editor and freezing the uv and model into place. Note: Go to the little square in any of the mini views and press the little square button circled in green. This will help you get a better view of the model. Example 0-0 ------------------------------------ 1) Go to View\Rendering-Texturing\Texture Editor Example 1-1 --------------------------------------- The editor pops up. Select all the little blue dots till all are red. 2) Go to Edit\Freeze NOTE: this step happens in the texture editor Example 1-2 ------------------------------------------ Then simply close the editor. Thats all there is to it with freezing a UV. Ill get more into this area later.

| The texture is already applied when you click on cubic, just quit the window and go in textured decal. (You can change that that where it says "wireframe" in any of the window, click on it and choose "textured decal"). |
