It looks promising but it doesn't specificaly say BF 3 as a project, it just says a sci-fi. I will be looking forward to the point when Spark releases more info on this.

True but their are other games that count as that. I am still waiting for full confirmation, then I will get excited.

I hope they don't use any models of the swbf1 and 2 , because they can do high polies models now , and i hope they'll be a modtool and an exporter of course .

Also, If Spark is indeed working on Battlefront, I think an announcement will come before 2013. This is based on their tweets.

Thank you for the vids, my friend! I really hope it gets picked up again and they finish with what was already made by Free Radical. I know it's a long shot since it's unlikely anyone will take the previous assets that were seen in the leaked videos. If a SWBF3 is actually being made in secret, I imagine the code and the mechanics will be made from scratch and will be completely different from this.

Here's what I hope for the next Battlefront:
Easy to mod (mods encouraged actually. Easy to use mod tools, etc)
Squad System (if you've played Battlefield 2 and 2142, you'll know what I mean. When you die you can spawn where your squad leader is. Also in SP games, you can give them commands like: Regroup, go to that location, destroy/capture/defend that objective, suppressive fire, etc etc. So you can have a more tactical experience, but it can still be relatively easy to pick up as far a Battlefield-style shooter goes)
Destructible Environments (blowing holes in walls, creating craters in ground, etc, etc. Also physics.)
Ragdolls (we know how funny these can be, but it can also be more realistic depending on certain scenarios)
Customization (as we rank up in SP/MP, we get more options available in this area. Logos, symbols, new armor pieces, different helmets, kamas, pauldrons, etc, etc. Also weapon customization would be nice too. This would work very awesomely for clan battles too).
Stats (people would often want to check and see their k/d ratios and stuff like that, would be nice).

I really hope something like what is shown is finished and stuff. :/ Doubt it will be, but a man can dream!

Honestly the most unrealistic thing you mentioned was "Easy to mod." Games nowadays are not made easy to mod, they make it hard to mod most games. There are few exceptions (Skyrim is an exception to that rule). If you can't mod it, game dies sooner, people buy new games instead.

Spark has said their new game is Lost Planet 3, not Battlefront 3. Case closed.

Guess that's not so disappointing. Lost Planet series is cool in my opinion. I only have the first one, though. At least we were right about one thing: There's a 3 in the title!

Spark announced their game, it's not star wars battlefront 3, it's lost planet 3. But Crytek which bought Free Radical is going to reveal a game at april 16th, i can't to see if it is swbf3 or Crysis 3.
