| I just downloaded the asset for the Hyena Bomber (I plan on replacing General Grievous' Starfighter with it). It's an incredible mod. But I want the sensors (eyes) to glow like the Vulture droid's sensors do. How can I accomplish this? - Spoiler:

| It glows because it is directly in the model. But you can probably achieve that with a glow map:
1) Copy the texture, you want to add a glow map to 2) Rename the copy just by adding _glowmap at the end, exemple: cis_fly_hyena_bomber.tga become cis_fly_hyena_bomber_glowmap.tga 3) Open cis_fly_hyena_bomber_glowmap.tga in photoshop, GIMP or any picture editing program 4) Create a new layer 5) Fill the new layer with black 6) Layer opacity to 75% to see the texture under the layer 7) Create a selection for the part you want to add glow to it, here the sensors 8) Fill it with red (if you want red glow) 9) Layer opacity back to 100% 10) Save as tga

| I created the glowmap following your instructions.
When I tested it after munging there was no glow effect. Does this only work on custom maps? (I replaced the Droid Bomber with the Hyena Bomber on the stock side. I don't know if that makes any difference or not)

| It has to do with modeling and the pandemic addon. Best way: you could ask Kinetosimpetus to make the hyena bomber's sensors glow for you? He is on the forum here. |
