- Go into your mod tools folder. C:\BF2_ModTools
Then go into your map folder. C:\BF2_ModTools\data_???
Then double click on this file here circled in red shown in the picture below.
- Spoiler:
Now go to entity and manually add your 3 letter map-ID by right clicking on entity and add scope and naming it to your 3 letter side.
- Spoiler:
Then right click your newly added side and choose add key amd name it to your soldiers odf name. Example: (rep_inf_ep3trooper)
NOTE: R84 is my sides name.
- Spoiler:
Then click on your newly added trooper and go to the box shown in the picture below and name the trooper to what-ever (Example: Rifleman)
- Spoiler:
Then save. The save takes about a min or 2. So relax. Then munge and go see your newly named trooper.
Also weapons, armor, map can be named and renamed here too. Enjoy. Thanks Ice, FAQed 8) . |

| An update to this Tut. I made a mistake I want to correct. I'll use r84 as my side ID When naming the soldier, you only add inf_rifleman and not r84_inf_rifleman. Cause the r84 is already a scope you should have added. Then save. Just to be clear heres another example Scope circled in cyan and soldier circled in red. Type soldier name where arrow points. Then save

| Well, you never know who may play your map/mod, so you might as well do it for all!
TIP: Do NOT click on the two blank spaces below uk_english. They will crash the localize program and you'll have to redo everything. |

| The most commonly used languages are: English, UK_English, French, German, and Spanish. A few Italians and literally zero Japanese. |
