| So anyone here wanna test online with me? Managed to finally open the readme. rofl. My computer doesn't have .docx stuff or anything by default so I had to find a converter (was gonna tell you I needed an .rtf or .txt version of the readme if you didn't mind. Want me to post the readme in my post here so that someone doesn't install it incorrectly?) |

| Here is the readme Beta Beta3 of BFSM The main reason I am doing this last beta is for online testing as I have not tried online yet. Instructions Extract everything Overwrite all the older beta files with the new files Move MAP folder to your addon Move the folder named BFSM (it should have a bunch of side lvls in it) to your side folder Note: DO NOT move the lvls to your side folder drag the entire folder into the side folder so it becomes a sub folder It adds a new era so it should not overwrite any files other than the beta1 files if it asks to please let me know. Maps that currently have BFSM on them All stock maps All of marvel4s converted maps (except the ones that Swbf2 has ie: naboo) Several of TK432s maps Now I did ask several more people if I can use their maps and I will use them just not in the beta. All languages are localized but in English The era icons in instant action are messed up I will also release a full credits list with version 1.0 and I will release a tutorial on how to add BFSM to your map/s sometime Please PM me all bugs if any And most of all have fun enjoy playing around with this mod And sorry I can't test online as I am making updates (so its not compatible :( ) and my internet connection hates non-dedicated servers :( But I know Lephenix and Naru were playing it online the otherday (BTW any things that caused server crashes guys?) |

| I suggest toning down a few things on the Magnaguard's Bulldog RLR, because as soon as I start any CW era battle, I see nothing but homing rockets in my face.
Also, is it possible at all to set the Hero AI on a timer? Because my efforts practically go in vain when I defeat a hero/villain only to be killed by them after they respawn a few seconds later.
I love how 10x harder this mod makes everything, so don't change the difficulty on that.
Explosion effects of the Rebel Incineration speeder appear as squares. The effect IS there as well as the texture, it's just a bit of a black square issue on the effects.
The duration of the Concussion explosion camera shake effects should be lowered a bit. Tad too much during gameplay.
Lephenix is on the mark about the force powers.
Lephenix is also correct about that it shouldn't be you on adding other mapper's content, it should be the mappers adding the era.
Also, I got a FATAL error on trying to load Geonosis: Spire with the mod. I do have Marvel 4's conversion pack, but some reason didn't wanna load.
But so far Lephenix has covered everything else. Didn't try online yet. Anyone here, contact me on X-fire for a good time to try a game out for online testing. If I am not available, just send a PM to me - I'll get to it for sure.
But so far, I am loving this mod a lot! Feels 10x more tactical and challenging. As much as I love gungho stuff, I'd rather play like a team and actually feel like I'm part of a role. Great job! |

No crash. Btw have you removed Kotor, wave and campaign ? You have to remove them in the addme, and their luas too. |

Right now they respawn after 20 seconds does a minute or like 40 seconds sound better? BTW force push, pull, and wave do overheat currently its 3 quick pushes (or whatevers) will overheat it for a while. | Thanks for the reply. I really do enjoy this mod rather much. And yeah, sounds good on what ya said. I love how everything's extremely lethal in this mod and it puts me into a tactical mood. One of my friends, Ajax, who did not register here, but I told him to come to this forum since he's starting on modding himself and he came here and he told me he downloaded the beta, so apparently people don't have to register on the forum to see things? I was hoping that you'd have to be registered to the site in order to see most of the forum, because that'd be one excuse to have him finally register here. I'm trying to make him register, though, and I told him it was SWBFCustom exclusive and not to share it anywhere else - and he understands that so I suppose that's one good thing, right? Last night he played it and he told me a couple of those problems, but truthfully I had already had those thoughts in mind so I was probably gonna share them anyways (namely because the heroes owned me and not only that, but the Magnaguards just absolutely tear me a new sarlaac pit at the start of a match. Heroes: 40 seconds to a minute sounds much better. How about 55 seconds? And on the force powers...they do overheat? Alright, I guess it just seems they don't. Heat of the moment, I suppose.) He also told me he thinks the portable shields and command posts are awesome. And I happen to agree there. If I manage to get him on here, he could share what he has to say. And I have to request one thing, because he freaked out. Could you upload to filefront servers or something instead? Because he somehow managed to download something weird from Megaupload and he's not even on his own computer (not his computer to begin with) and he freaked out because I told him, "Umm, dude...that's not what was suppose to be downloaded." And then only did he realize he had to wait for the 'skip ad' thing at the top and he freaked out and started cursing. I hope this does not sound rude, but I think at least one mirror for filefront would workout well. I have an account if you need me to password an archive with the readme and exe and put it on there if you want. I myself am not a fan of Megaupload, but that's mostly personal reasons, and I'm sorry if that seems nitpicky.

| Thanks I am glad he likes it I have tried to put stuff on filefront but it hates me :P I have a badish internet quality so megauploads one of the few sites that will work for me if someone else would please put it on filefront that would be great One thing about heroes is that I want you to feel like an actual stormtrooper trying to take on Luke Skywalker more, very hard but possible if you have some teamates with you or use the right weapon combonatios. |

That's understandable, it was really challenging. Especially not only fighting them, but also fighting troops on the ground at the same time. There's a lot of awareness involved and I'm trying to stress to him those facts. I tried stressing to him that I'm tired of always going gung-ho and that there are many times in Battlefront where I want a challenge and players online using glitches to kill me isn't what I call 'challenging', no, that's just annoying. This mod is different. On Mygeeto, I had a VERY close battle...I still lost, but there was still fulfillment since I fought to the last man. They had 2...and I was the last guy. I took out Luke Skywalker at least once or twice. Thankfully, I wasn't what he concentrated on really, during that battle. So the hero more or less cut me some slack, I guess? AI self-aware or something? OMG, Skynet. But, I did get shot in the butt by a particle cannon turret, so...yeah. Also, I'll upload the beta for you in a passworded archive on Filefront and link it here. |

| No not self aware just much better I just used some LUA code on Fred's site that makes the team without the player much better and if one side gets a lead of more then 40 units it makes the winning side's AI worse and the losing side's AI better until back within the 40 range I am really pround of how much better the AI are and some things I have seen them do are great ie on mos eisley GCW I was a Stormcommando rushing towards the enemy CP after 3 rebel riflemen stepped out from cover I blew them up from behind me a rebel infiltrator stepped out behind me and killed me with his pistol. |

| Ok thanks for the report but the pilot/engineer is supposed to be a fleeet trooper there. and I would love the actual model for the flechette pistol the release is postponed until I fix the remaining HUD problems. |
