| Let me get you set up. Vista/Windows 7 Munge Fix - If you have windows 7 or windows vista your going to need this for the mod tools. http://www.gamefront.com/files/13892962/munge_fix.zip Unofficial 1.3 Patch - This helps a lot! http://www.gamefront.com/files/files/12244638/swbf2v1.3patch_lite_revision_117.exe Information Into Moddinghttps://swbf-custom.forumactif.com/t4-modding-faqhttp://gametoast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=13806 Battlefront Extreme is unnecessary, some people enjoy those kinds of mods, others do not. My personal opinion for getting into modding, experiment, see what you can do with the tools first before actually releasing any mods. When you do have a mod that your proud of and wish to share, post it here or on gametoast as a beta so we can help you work out all the bugs and give your our opinions. It took me about two months to get the hang of the mod tools and I'm still learning! The SWBF Custom and Gametoast community are very patient (Although gametoast is a bit more strict due to the larger community) we will be glad to help whenever we can! If you ever have any questions look through the FAQ threads and if you can't find your awnswer there, feel free to ask us! Good luck on your modding, Have fun! |

| No problem. One thing I forgot to mention though.
BF2_Mod_Tools_NoDVD.exe - Going to need this, place it in \Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData http://www.mediafire.com/?dnlosg34n55bvcq
When you run this, it will let you know if there are any errors within your mod in the BFront2.txt file. |

| You installed it correctly, like the name of the title says, it is an unofficial patch, so it won't change the V1.1, it is like an addon. |

| okay so I have a few questions and they may be a bit challenging... here we go so first off I have a mac, so that right there makes things difficult, but i recently downloaded a program that allows me to open exe. files (not run) just open and access files within the exe. So my questions are I am having difficulty putting the 1.3 patch on my swbf2 because i get all the files from the exe...but i don't know where to put them (since I have to manually input them in to the files)... also do i need to have the 1.1 patch first before 1.3? and if so where do I put those files? I have an add-on file with over 50 maps inside and some of them came from exe. files and they work fine...its just the era mods that don't work because I don't have the 1.3 patch... all input is welcome, thank you for your time! |

all input is welcome, thank you for your time! Im going to suggest you keep different add on folders. Having more than 20 mods usually causes problems with era mods. So what I would do is keep the maps but keep the era type mods in different add on folders and just switch to different ones every time you want try different type of era mods. Hope this helps sir. |

| ok so basically i should take my add-on folder out and make a new one that I put the era mod in with the 1.1 patch and 1.3 patch included in the addon folder? |

| What I did was make a new folder in the SWBF2 folder (I have like 250+ mods/maps) and I put all of the mods/maps that I'm not using atm in there. |
