I've added the Tri-Fighter's blur effect to ground units. When the unit's speed increases to a certain point the effect starts, BUT when the speed stops all together the effect just stops instead of dissipating slowly like it does in space.

I'm thinking that BlurEffect is the amount of blur and BlurStart has something to do with the speed.

Code:
[Properties]
HealthType                  = "droid"

BlurEffect              = 0.9
BlurStart              = 40.0

With the above code the blur effect looks like this. I want it to be closer to the unit, I'm not sure how to accomplish that.

Hmmm, maybe because the ship doesnt come to a complete stop in space like the infantry does?

Have you tried sprinting with blur, then normal running see if the blur discipates slowly?

Might try adding these to your soldier odf file.

FOVEffect3rd = 90
FOVEFFectMinCamOffset3rd = "0.0 2.0 10.0"
FOVEFFectMaxCamOffset3rd = "0.0 4.0 -18.0"

FOVEffect1st = 90

I assume FOV - field of view. If not, you can somply delete them.

Got it! Thanks Icemember. Works very well in game. I also noticed the Heroes use the blur effect. I suppose that would work as well.
