Hmmm, maybe because the ship doesnt come to a complete stop in space like the infantry does?
Have you tried sprinting with blur, then normal running see if the blur discipates slowly?
Might try adding these to your soldier odf file.
FOVEffect3rd = 90
FOVEFFectMinCamOffset3rd = "0.0 2.0 10.0"
FOVEFFectMaxCamOffset3rd = "0.0 4.0 -18.0"
FOVEffect1st = 90
I assume FOV - field of view. If not, you can somply delete them.
