| New CIS Has several different versions. I've edited the original message to post links and give a quick description about how the mod changed over time.
v1.0 - http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.com/file/New_CIS_;120873 This version is sort of odd, it was my first attempt at side modding and I kept running into errors when trying to replace certain units. It also includes some unique Battle Droid heros with lightsabers and force abilities. xD
v2.3 - http://starwarsbattlefront.filefront.com/file/New_CIS;121108 This mod is technically the first version of "Ultimate CIS" but, because it was unfinished and that I wanted an online compatible side mod as well as a one with my own changes. This is where it splits off. (Link may be removed soon)
v2.5 - http://www.gamefront.com/files/22014537/NC_v2.5_Online_Compatible.rar This version is incomplete. It is in fact online compatible, replacing the Magna Guard and the Super Battle Droid with normal B1 Battle Droids. It also includes new skins and the trishot has been replaced with a blaster pistol. The final result will include 3 different skins, and will hopefully remove the rocket "throwing" animation.

| Looking really good so far, I do have three minor suggestions.
1. I would give the Sniper back his Auto-Turret instead of the Thermals, Auto-Turrets and mines are good for protecting yourself while sniping, nades are uneccesary 2. I would give the officer some sort of buff, (Rage or Nuero Poison) so he's more like an officer, I'd also suggest using the underhand chaingun animation, it's much better and realistic. 3. I would give the pilot a few (2) Health & Ammo Packs, he could then be better in the enemy ships, and he'd be able to replenish his time bombs
Other than that good job so far, I really like the skins. |

| Auto Turret for snipers Officer Buff Pilots Health and ammo packs, no problem.
I'll get to it. I'll update this again with more pictures. Would you happen to know what file contains the side of the hailfire wheel? I can't seem to find it.
Underhand chaingun animation? (how would I add that? What character already uses it?) |

The chaingun brought up another problem. Floating weapon bug... |

Answer - The BF2_modtools.exe is the debug executable, copy it from C:\BF2_ModTools and paste it in the same folder as your BattlefrontII.exe, usually: C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData you can launch BF2_modtools.exe and play your map then exit or let it crash to generate a BFront2.log located in that same folder. If you have the DVD version of SWBF2 check THIS or THIS link for a compatible version of the BF2_modtools.exe
Note to Vista users: If you can't find your BFront2.log it may be saved to this location: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData or click on the Compatibility Files button in the GameData folder. |

| Then something else must be causing the crashing. I only edited the existing skins. No error log ever appears. I'm really frustrated at the moment. I worked on this for 6 hours.
How do I get a error log to appear? I really really really want to fix this. Its getting on my nerves. |

| I think the pilot droid is good the way he is. If this is for the campaign, then yea the pilot droid can reload from the recharge droids. The officer can use the buff and possibly a auto turret. Kind of like a moral at his fortress kind of thing. For the sniper, the mines dont fit lol. Flashing mines around the sniper would give him away. Instead give him a remote droid so he can pull reconnaissance. Just some suggestions

| Everything is working fine now, thanks guys! I made changes that people suggested. (although they were conflicting, I chose what I thought worked best.) When I get home later I have a few more things to do then I'll give you guys the updated screenshots. (Added some more scratches and detail to the skins) Need to fix the floating icon bug for the underhanded chaingun. Need to find the tga file that contains the side of the hailfire wheels. (I'll explain further once I post screenshots) Need to reskin the Spider Droid. (Not dark enough, does not match the rest of the vehicles.) I might replace the droideka or officer with a commando droid. (Or should I just keep it as it is?) I know that the THEWULFMAN has created a commando droid. Did he release the assets? Note: Going to release this mod with normal skins and my own custom skins. (After its released I'll post the skin assets here! |

| Fix the floating icon: http://www.gametoast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=9703 Tga file of the hailfire wheels in the cis side: CIS/mshs/cis_tread_hailfire_wheel.tga I prefer a droid commando instead of a droideka, but be carefull, your sides need to balanced, or the REP will be really disavantaged. Wulf didn't created one, he used Kinetosimpetus's Droid commando, you can get it here: - Spoiler:

| Managed to fix the floating weapon bug, decided not to add the Commando Droid. (I have other plans for this mod and the commando droid does not fit with the other battle droids very well, plus it makes the teams unbalanced like you said earlier)
The last thing I want to do before releasing this mod (with a bunch more skins) I want to rename the classes. The names refuse to change in the stock maps, while the name changes show up on the starting mod map. How would I get the name changes to appear on the stock maps? |

| I've decided to release this before I release "Ultimate CIS" It replaces the Super Battle Droid, and Magna Guard with Battle Droids. I've given the Tri-shot the pistol msh and pistol animation. The Wrist blaster now uses the E-5 Blaster rifle msh and rifle animation. All the classes have new skins.
It should be entirely online compatible, I haven't tested it thoroughly because I don't particularly enjoy online play because of the lag and the excessive use of explosives. If any of you are willing to give it a try online. Let me know what you think.
I put this together pretty fast so I don't know if I missed anything other than the sound effects for the E-5 blaster rifle and Trishot (Pistol) reload sound. (I'm not entirely sure if adding that sound will break online compatibility)
