an early release of yavin 13 for a little treat
yavin 13 is set on a the desolate desert world of yavin 13 (shocker)
dotted by cacti and small oasises both the empire and the Rebel alliance
have dug in on the planet hoping to either conquer/defend it
good luck ;P

also like my beta for yavin IV plateau i am issuing a loadscreen contest
so if you snap a good pic YOUR pic could end up as the loadscreen and your name

Downloading. Very Happy I will give feedback after I play a few rounds.

I will also take multiple screenshots if you'd like.

Edit - I know it's a beta, but I'm sure you'd like a report on a few things.

First of all, great work! It's definitely a change from typical Tatooine-style desert maps. The flora and cacti actually made it feel great. The ruins and the crashed ship are a nice touch as well, and the sky ads even more to the atmosphere. The AT-PT was freaking awesome. Easy to drive and maneuver and get into small spaces unlike the AT-ST I see in other maps (not that I hate the AT-ST, of course.). The Rebel speeder was very nice too.

Very little problems I've found. But there is a couple I can spot right away. One of which I'm sure you are aware, is that the Rebel speeder has no sounds at the moment. And I'm sure you are planning on localizing the AT-PT and the Speeder soon, right? So instead of just a Red or Blue health bar at the top it'll say, "AT-PT" or "Attack Speeder"? That's not a major issue at the moment and in all honesty can do without the vehicle name localization. (Edit within edit: I forgot to mention something that Gandalf brought up. The Rebel speeder does appear black at a far distance.)

Also, is there a way to fix that 'seam' in the sky? I mean the sky is brilliant, but that small line kind of draws me away from the sky. I hope I don't sound nitpicky or anything. We'll just say there's a crack in space and time and leave it at that (Doctor Who ftw).

But other than those things that can be easily fixed which I am sure you are aware of and are planning to fix already, the map is excellent and when the full mappack comes out, this is certainly one I'll play over and over. Great job!

Also...a few screenshots for you.

yeah will defianlty localize and add sounds to the vehicles i was too lazy to do this for the beta Embarassed

Yeah ill fix that i probably made the sky texture like 1 pixel too small and it made that little black line

thanks again Smile
